In winter here, when days top out at a perfect 78 degrees and evenings hover in the 60s, visitors abound. Sleet, snow, and the grayest of northeast days drive New Englanders & New Yorkers here in droves. Snowbirds, as they’re called.

Even in September, summer is ON. Stabbing sunshine, 90 degree shade, humidity up the wazoo, an everywhere sweat lodge. Entering your car risks first degree burns on tender backs of thighs. Oh brisk bay breeze, how I miss you!
